Following the release of his debut project Wonderman" Nelwayne under the alias Wayne Collins brings forth his second project Things Get Better. A shift in production style and lyricism from his previous works. From catchy Bossa nova samples, soul and upbeat synths to a more DiY Boom Bap approach synchronous with 90s hip Hop. The lyrical content showcases a more mature emcee furthering his storytelling ability, with enhanced imagery, humor, pop culture references finessed through poly-syllabic rhyme schemes.

Production handled entirely by Wayne Collins with the exception of three tracks. Samples ranging from rock, soul, hip-hop and RnB.

The concepts include; feelings about commercial hip-hop, romance, relationships, financial struggles, college life and partying. I want to establish grounds as a diverse emcee and prolific producer.
